dear new year..

dear 2009,
we sure have a lot to look forward to... resolutions that may or may not ever be reached. (usually the diet one that lasts three days, I'm sorry to get your hopes up every year.) we have a new nephew to see in March, that is one thing I am excited that you are keeping in store. it holds a 2 year anniversary for brandon and I, which will round out our lives togehter to nearly four years this year, can you believe it? 2009 holds a bright future for many, this year is an important one for us- I am hoping you are kind to our economy and help the president elect fix what is broken, which I admit is a lot.. you could help him with his resolution, I'm hoping it doesn't get thrown out the window like my diets. 2009 please bring hope back to the country, it feels like we are a little lost. I know we can find our way... we are Americans- we always have. 2009 I am looking forward to the things you bring it is always fun guessing what surprises will come the following year. So my resolutions to you go as follows: I will eat more consciously (note the word diet is missing, I'm sick of disappointing you.), I will go to the gym regularly ( mom I know your so proud ), and I will push myself harder in my career and reach the goals I have set. I know we can do it 2009 it feels like a good year. Please help us all acomplish the goals we set and please forgive us for the goals we forget. Happy New Year.
